Okay! So, I decided I wanted to make ref sheets for all my characters but couldn't find a blank sheet on dA that was just right. A lot of them were good but I wanted one that was perfect and had only what I needed specifically. I took bits and pieces from others that I liked and smooshed 'em together to make my own. (remade them of course)
And thus, this was born! It took way longer then it should have because i'm such a perfectionist
You guys can use it too of course! I wouldn't want it to go to waste since I may be lazy and not even use it much... I just wanted to make sure it was THERE if I needed it xD
If you use it you must put a link to the blank sheet in case others like what they see and want to use it too. And you don't have to but please link me to your deviation here. I'd love to see your characters!
It can be a original character, a fan character, or even yourself! xD As long as you designed them and they can answer most of the questions on the sheet I really don't care. -----------------------------------------------------
Even though it's mostly self explanatory, let me tell you a little about this here sheet.
In the top left corner goes the Name of your character. ...and directly below that small box is where you draw them.
In the top right corner, you draw Items that your character carries around with them, or keeps at home and just owns. You may remove the x's if you wish. They are just there to show you the boxes to draw in. If you don't have that many, or if you have more, then you may want to remove them. Also, some people have said they don't need the item box. If you wish to swap it for something else like a color box, or a headshot, you may. But i'd appreciate it if you'd say that you did in your artist comment so people don't get confused.
Below the Items box is the Size comparison chart. Here you see a human figure and some measurements. You draw your character next to the human figure to show how big he/she is in comparison. This is especially good if your character is not human, or is fairly large. If you're good at shopping, you can crop the image and make it larger if your character is human and you want to compare the size more accurately.
Underneath that chart is the Information box. Here you simply fill out the information for your character it asks for. If anything doesn't apply to your character, you can just put an 'X' there, or crop it out if you like. - - Orientation means if your character is straight, Bi-sexual, Pan-sexual, gay, etc; - - Or if they consider themselves a different gender then their sex. Or both if necessary. The Description can be anything from their interests, hobbies, personality, family life etc;... Basically anything you want to write/reveal about your character.
Lastly, the Extra area at the very bottom of this sheet can be used for anything you want. If there's anything extra you want to put for your character that doesn't have it's own special box, you can put it there. You can even divide that box up if you want. Just some suggestions would be:
If you have any questions I didn't cover, just ask! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - credits: The grids on this sheet I found on Google and did not make myself. The human figure on the size chart was stock that I used here: [link]
